Computer Language

I know from the title above, most of you all may be a little confused but today we will be talking about Java script with the roles it may play in modern society.

Before we get started:

Just a little with my experience, before learning about this source i was quite confused myself. I mention this because i want you all to understand that i would love to hear your open idea about this term.

JavaScript  is a scripting language used to create and control dynamic website content, i.e. anything that moves, refreshes, or otherwise changes on your screen without requiring you to manually reload a web page.

Some important features that comes with JavaScript:

I honestly feel like Java script is a important web source for anyone because it’s the only programming language of this kind that can be understood by web browsers.

I do believe , we as individuals will bring an open of privacy to the communications field with the use of java scripts. I do believe, if we don’t have this source, it will be an increase of security issue cases.

In other words, i feel more safe with certain information being saved on my computer due to me having java script.

Web Design Training

We all may need assistance when it comes to Web design training, well wait one second because I have a couple of resources to help you develop faster and hands on guidance to show you.

There are two resources I would love to share with you all, when it comes to web design training. From the additional resources page, I decided to choose www.w3schools.com and www.treehouse.com .

Why did I choose w3schools?

  • This valuable resource offers the opportunity to help individuals become more familiar with the concepts of HTML and CSS.

  • This website takes the time to break down basic information that consist of making sites look colorful, attractive, and welcoming, with video and colorful graphics.

  • A little more things that this site offers a steady progression of interactive tutorials that explains everything in plain and simple language and, more importantly, lets you play with markup live on the site, so you can see what effect the tiniest changes can have on how a web page appears in the browser.

Why did I choose treehouse?

  • I find this one a little more beneficial because it has more of a video description on how things are displayed.
  • The videos are very professionally produced, and you get a wealth of lessons covering almost every aspect of web design and development.
  • This website makes individuals feel involved by a game element to the site that tests you on what you’ve learned and rewards you with achievement badges. So if you need extra motivation to learn, this is a great site to use.

In conclusion, I’m kind of glad that I didn’t have to experience Ca260 entirely online because I love to have classes in the classroom. I feel like I can ask questions when it comes to my mind instead of having to send an email and wait a couple days for an response. I don’t enjoy it as much being taught online because I like being involved in the classroom with any questions of my concern. I feel like I would learn more regardless with it being either in-class or online, I just prefer in-class.

How does it work?

  • When you think about the way CSS works, think of customizing your web pages by interacting with HTML elements.

Elements are the individual HTML components of a web page.

  • In other words, CSS is written in simple plain text through a text editor or word processor on your computer. There are three ways to add that CSS code to your HTML pages. Which can consist of external, internal, or inline.
  • Many individuals may become confused on doing this process, so i will present a vivid image of a HTML element.

However, once you are more aware of this element it starts to make sense. This element will help individuals be able to understand the concept CSS, the proper use of CSS, and people will be more familiar with this element.

In conclusion, my experience with CSS was quiet confusing at first but with the help of my professor it became more clear due to practicing. It can make you feel proud of yourself also because its like you behind the scenes of a web page and designing it in a way that fits your creativity.
